A failing test grade- makes me think that a failing test grade isn't so bad because if I fail enough test I get to retake the class again. Who wouldn't love to learn the same material again. :)

Warm up Chapter 11

(GRACE was reading her favorite book when she looked up and saw the greenery, there were birds chirping, the sun was way to hot for her liking. So she sat under her favorite tree, on her favorite bench, reading her FAVORITE book. GRACE was content with her morning so far before her big interview with the boss. DANNY walked up and sits next to GRACE. His hair is all scruffy, his left shoe is untied, and he has big red bags under her eyes.)

DANNY: I just don't get it. Why me?

(GRACE is trying to ignore DANNYS negative conversation with himself. She does see that he is a business man by his Lord and Taylor suit with his gold Rolex.)

DANNY: I loved him, he didn't do anything to deserve this. He was so happy, smiling, breathing, living life.
GRACE: Sir?
DANNY: Hi sorry, I didn't mean to ruin your book about chocolate making.
GRACE: Are you Gay?
DANNY: What?
GRACE: Or like did somebody die? Idk I mean I was reading and having a good day before my interview, and then you came over, talked loudly, moaned about someone who was "living the life". Clearly you wanted me to ask what was wrong, so now that you interrupted me, whats wrong?

(GRACE was bothered, she was mentally preparing for this interview, and loving her book)

GRACE: I mean I'm trying to be nice, but you are annoying me.
DANNY: I'm sorry, I'm just having a rough morning. I tried to call out but I have to interview someone today. I hate being the boss sometimes.
(GRACE started thinking.)

GRACE: Oh I'm sorry, well where do you work?
DANNY: I'm the CEO of Snickers Factory.

(This was where GRACE was having her interview today!)

DANNY: I was having such a bad morning. I...
GRACE: So, who is this person you are interviewing?
DANNY: He was so loyal to me, and we have known each other since we were 10.
GRACE: How Many people are you interviewing for the position?
DANNY: He was there for me when I woke up, and went to sleep?

(The conversation was really one sided. GRACE did most of the talking while DANNY confided in GRACE.)
DANNY: I miss him so much.
GRACE: I'm trying to talk to you? Who even died that you are so upset about?
DANNY: my Goldfish Sandy died this morning.. And by the way you didn't get the job.

(DANNY got up and walked away leaving GRACE in awe. This was DANNY'S plan the whole time.)

Try this 8.12

I don't know, they all look so happy, and they are all smiling. Having a god time, drinking. The day was hot, and they were beat red, the sun was too hot. My mom had her hair up and my uncle had sunglasses rings under his eyes. The pool looked clear, and the sun was reflecting off the pool. My uncles girlfriend was leaning on him and his friend was probably laugh at a stupid joke. The beers were half underwater, they were probably floating in the deep end. They were laughing at my mom making a smile that was larger than life.

Try This 8.9

"No I swear I am okay." I knew this day was coming, I knew you were going to be there, and I was going to be there, and we were all going to be there. Staring at you. Smiling, crying, loving, being at peace. I was scared, my heart hurt. Your hand was still, your suit laid perfect.  There you were grey haired, pale. I wasn't afraid of you, I was afraid for you. Just being there, the wood was shiny, I could see my reflection in the oak. The gold stood out, I looked into it, and I could see the sadness, the tired faces, the heartbreak, looking back at me. White, red, blue, yellow, roses, to many. The pictures, I look, and I remember the time. I would watch you play softball with Daddy, and I would smile, now i will see them play softball, and I will cry.  I wanted it to be over, go home, go home, you go home, and I will go home. No more hurt. and no more pain. No more I'm sorry, please stop saying I'm sorry. I'm sorry that you are saying sorry. Number 23 everywhere, crying but smiling because he's happy. He smiles in heaven, he smiles because the cancer is over. He smiles because we are here, and he smiles because I love him too. Baseball heaven looks good on you, and so does heaven too. Don't be afraid because I'm  not afraid of you, I'm afraid for you.

Warm up- 225

I was cleaning my station at work annoyed that it was 9:30, and I still had a table sitting in the dinning room when I got a text from my Mom telling me to come home as quick as I could. Of course in my head I'm thinking every possible negative thing I could in my head, either someone died, or I did something really bad. When I finally left I drove home like a snail, not wanting to face devastation. I walked in the door, and my Mom was standing there staring at me. I felt my face get hot, and my heart was beating so loud I heard it in my head. She looked at me and said go downstairs your Dad is waiting to talk to you. So as I take the 3 steps down the stairs, which felt like an eternity. He said look, your brothers have something to show you, and there was my new puppy sitting on my brother Joe's lap. We had just lost our dog a few months ago, and it really hit my family hard, so to see this adorable brown fluff ball named Sophie sitting on my brothers lap was the best surprise.

Try This 9.11

My owner was walking me and I saw the same boring old fire, fire, fire, hydrant on my same, same, same, same, boring walk the Daniel's grass taste weird today, and my collar is itching my neck the same way it always does. Walk faster, stop talking to everyone, and now the Daniel's dog is sniffing my ass. How come you get to wear a jacket and I'm freezing? I'm cold, cold, cold, why do we walk everyday? the window with the sun coming through is enough for me. walk, walk, walk, walk. I already peed 5 ti.. BALL! BALL! BALL! I must get the BALL.  Bye Kathy talks a lot, and hello big, bright, beautiful yellow, yellow, yellow, ball.

Warm up- 259

Where is this?
The location is in Kansas in a gold cave, they are going on a tour to see gold and other kinds of rocks. The morning that they are is cold and steamy, it rained the night before so everything is sticky and damp.

Who are they?
This is Jenna who is married to Danny. They just got married 2 days and are stopping in Jenna's home town before they head off the their honey moon in the Dominican Republic. Jenna has long brown hair that almost touches her butt, she is skinny but very strong. You can tell Jenn works out by the creases in her shoulders under her tank top. Danny is really tall he is about 6'2, he has slick back shoulder length hair, with even bigger muscles that Jenna.

What problem do they face together?
The problem they are facing together is that as they were in the gold mind they heard a crack in the wall of the rock, of course they weren't the only people in there, they had their very short blonde, she only spoke when it was her turn and never took initiative at work, she was very reserved. Her name was Anna. Once all 3 heard the crack Danny knew it didn't sound good but Anna knew that it was time for all tours to end so she tried to gather everyone us to get out of the mountain. All the other tour guides ignored her and this is when Anna screamed and made everything worse. When Anna screamed at everyone in the mountain her voice was so pitchy she made the crack even bigger. Big pieces of rocks were falling from above, and everyone was trying to find an exit.

What problem arises between them?

The problem that arises is that once the rocks start to fall Jenna and Danny run but as they are running a rock falls on Jenna's ankle and she can't get up. Danny turns around and struggles to pick the boulder, the veins in Danny's arm and neck start popping and sweat is running down his forehead and back. Jenna is screaming in pain. Once Danny finally pulls it off he is out of breath, he looks pale and sweaty, Jenna sees this, she gets in front of Danny grabs his hand and tells him to follow her.

What is the story?

Once they get out of the mountain the police are outside waiting, one police man is fighting with a very distraught mother, her son is stuck inside and the police wont let her go back in. Jenna looks at Danny before he even said anything, she knew her new husband wasn't going to walk away knowing a little boy was stuck inside. Jenna turned around and kissed her pale, sweaty husband and said "go get him baby". Danny smiled and kissed Jenna hard, he turned around and ran back in,  Jenna limped behind the yellow caution tape and waited eagerly for her husband. Danny inside was sweating and his back was cramping from breathing so hard, he found the 4 year old blonde boy crying right before you could go down the stairs, Danny picked him up and started running. He tripped over a rock on the ground and fell dropping the boy. Danny broke his arm he was rolling around in pain, he looked over at the boy got to his feet. He scooped the boy up with one arm and sort of waddled out. Once he saw the light outside the cave he put the boy down and told him to run. Danny passed out, he woke up to Jenna dragging him outside the tunnel. Just as he looked up he saw the mountain begin to fall. Danny saw this and then everything went black...

 

Try This 6.2

Karen and Danny were just about finishing their vacation in the mountains, they both were in the army but took their last 2 days of tour to and see something beautiful after all the negative things they had to see, and all the death they had to breath in, it stung their noses. Danny a tall army sergeant bald and 6 freckles that were spread across his tired under eyes, when Danny arrived at the base 6 months ago he was a healthy glowing father of two, now he was a pale, slim, warn out man who just wanted his wife. Danny could just see Karen's light brown braid under her camo hat, Karen was very short, you could she the creases in her shoulders from her muscles. This was Karen's second tour and she loved every second of it, but being that there was 2 days left in their last tour and all she wanted to do was return home safe to her girlfriend. Karen was ready to turn around and go back to base a half an hour before their life was about to change forever. Danny heard a groan, it didn't sound like a human groan, but it was a sound they would never forget. Karen wanted to turn back her backpack was heavy and her lower back was stinging, she felt the sweat dripping down her back. Danny of course, wanted to investigate, so as they moved forward Danny stepped around rocks and grass patches every so closely, but the one rock he accidently stepped was a land mine that exploded and sent him and Karen flying to the edge of the mountain. When both came to, Karen was badly bruised, a concussion, but could ultimately walk, she had a gun in her bag hearing the steps of the enemy coming forward but no ammo. Danny knew he had lost a lot of blood, losing half his leg he was in extreme pain. Karen knew Danny had ammo in his bag if he gave it to her she could run back to base and get help, doing this of course would mean that Danny would be left to fend for himself. When Karen reached for his ammo Danny grabbed her arm and that's when Karen feels her neck get hot and stiff, she feels something warm, and sticky dripping down her back, this time it wasn't sweat. When she opened her eyes half her body was over the mountain and Danny was hanging her their, holding her life in his hands.

Try This 5.7

I woke up this morning in the bar, after hours with spit hanging out of the corner of my mouth. I was confused, I was tired, and I was about to throw up. I didn't remember why I was sitting in this corner dirty bar stool. The air was filled with stale Marlboro light and Bud light that expired about a month ago. I was confused why Brittney Spears was playing with 8 bikers playing darts. When I woke up with red watery eyes, and then I looked down to my lap and there my wedding ring. Stupid bitch, stupid, stupid, stupid bitch. She cheated on me but is throwing me to the curb. I stood up to use the bathroom and that's when I noticed how drunk I really was, the bathroom floor was stained with loss and regret. The tile was supposed to be white but was now a pale yellow, all the stalls had no locks and the one sink that worked was leaking yellow water. When I walked up to the cracked mirror with LGBT sticker on it and then I realized something, I wasn't crying because I was sad my wife cheated on me I was crying because I can be my happy-go-lucky self. I was gay and I wasn't able to really be who I was supposed too, I was always ashamed. my bruised, hard working fingers were sticky and now bleeding from peeling the LGBT sticker off the mirror. I put the sticker on my black and grey t-shirt that had a hole in the sleeve and a faded "I'm with her" shirt from our honeymoon. For the first time since '09 I can finally say that I was happy. I wiped someone's spit and possible gum off the cracked mirror and smiled at myself. When the bathroom door slammed behind me I felt my heart hurt, I took a deep breath that pierced my lungs, I knew that the stingy, and stagnant air was about to change my life once I signed my bill tab.

Try This 4.2

The bottom of pocketbooks are a very serious vacuum, they just attract anything they possibly can to make your shoulder hurt by adding just a few more pounds of junk into it. To start with the first layer of junk which is the more important stuff, this will include the wallet with about thirty pennies that you are to lazy to count out so it will just keep collecting. Next is the keys with the multiple amounts of keychains and keys to houses you don't know whos house they go to so you cant throw them out. The next layer is all those samples that people hand you in the mall the hand cream packets, receipts to things you bought that you wanted to forget about, the hair brush, the hair tie that was your favorite one but the bag took that love from you. Once you get to the bottom layer that's where it starts to get a little messy, this is the layer you try to avoid at all cost. You reach to the bottom of your pocketbook and you can find anything that you wont ever need or shouldn't be in your bag ever, this can include the loose pieces of hair from the brush, pens that may have possibly broken or are missing a pen cap so they are drawing all over the bottom of your bag, open candy that is attracting all the crumbs making the candy uneatable, that gum pack that has one piece of gum left, and more importantly the crumbs of food that you may have eaten in the past that wanted to stick around to see the show. The pocketbook can be considered a vacuum because it sucks everything possible to the bottom that you don't need or want, it the forgotten world of pocketbooks.

Is this bitch kidding.. that is my salad. I don't care that you "only had an apple for lunch", this is my damn salad!!!! I choose to put each tomato in my salad, each piece of lettuce, and EVERY OTHER THING IN MY SALAD. Freaking kidding me. not just are you kidding me, are you FREAKING kidding me. and not only did she stick her stupid fork in my god damn salad with her saliva on it, she ate my TOMATO, how dare you, I love tomatoes!!! And she just ripped my heart out by eating the last tomato in my GOD DAMN SALAD. This bitch, THIS BITCH. Oh wait, there is another tomato in my salad..
